Systems Engineers
System engineers are part of our operational team. The role is a senior one within the company and reports directly to the Operations Director. The role involves system deployment in various operating environments around the world. This involves handling the supply and logistics with 3rd parties, being on site to receive equipment, installing equipment and software, working with local operations engineers to commission systems and testing equipment and connectivity.
Software Engineers
Software engineers are part of the development team reporting to the Engineering Director. The team uses a combination of agile and waterfall development methods and is working on a range of innovations in the mobile marketplace. You would be expected to design and implement software in an appropriate set of languages (including Java, C, C++, C#), decide the technical approach to take in implementing the software and defend that approach is the context of peer review. Knowledge of telecommunications including signalling, or other real time environments, would be useful.
